Service Description

This package includes a 1 hour initial consultation. After the initial consultation a breakdown of cost will be provided depending on the extent of work to be undertaken. One of the first things you must do as Executor is to notify all required parties and institutions of the deceased's death. Our Certified Executor Advisors can assist you by completing all notifications of death This package can include requests for closures, cancellations or transfers of accounts. Notification of Death and/or request for closure/cancellation or transfer of accounts included (but not limited to) in this package are: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other online social media sites and applications, Service Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, Canada Pension Plan, Social Insurance Number, Old Age Security, Employment Insurance, WCB, Provincial Identification, Provincial Healthcare, Provincial Driver’s License, Passport Office, Nexus, Utility Companies, Landlord, Mortgage Company, Banks, Financial Institutions, Trust Companies, Insurance Companies, Credit Cards, Membership and Rewards Cards, Veterans Affairs, Investments, etc.

Cancellation Policy

Next Step Executor Services has a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. If you miss your appointment, cancel or change your appointment (with the exception of changing from an in person meeting to an online or telephone meeting) with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $125.00 cancellation fee. This policy is out of respect for our Certified Executor Advisors and our clients. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice, or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to meet with us. As most appointments require full payment or a deposit to be paid at the time of booking, if you cancel without giving us 24 hours minimum notice, we will refund the balance of the deposit less the $125.00 cancellation fee and a $5.00 processing fee.
